Itinerary

Day 1: Buenos Aires - Calafate - Chalten

Arrival at the airport to take the flight to El Calafate and from there transfer to El Chaltén. Upon arrival, transfer to the hotel.

Day 2: Toro Lagoon

Full-day hike to Laguna Toro Camp, along trails offering spectacular views of the granite massifs from the Loma del Pliegue Tumbado. We’ll be able to see the spires of Cerro Fitz Roy and Cerro Torre. The day ends at the Laguna Toro Camp, where we will have dinner.

Day 3: Paso del Viento –Southern Patagonian Ice field viewpoint

Zipline crossing over the Río Túnel. Gradual ascent between glacier moraines towards Paso del Viento, with views of the Southern Patagonian Ice Field and the Viedma Glacier. Overnight stay at the Paso del Viento refuge.

Day 4: Paso Huemul

After breakfast, full-day trekking. We will walk parallel to the Viedma Glacier stream. After lunch, we will continue on to Paso Huemul and descend to our camp, with a spectacular view of Lake Viedma.

Day 5: Viedma Lake – El Chaltén

Breakfast and descent to the shore of Lake Viedma to reach Bahía Túnel. Land transfer of approximately 15 kilometers to El Chaltén.

Day 6: El Chaltén - El Calafate - Buenos Aires

Breakfast and land transfer from El Chaltén to the Calafate Airport for the flight back to Buenos Aires.
