Itinerary

Day 1: Ushuaia

Check in at 409 San Martín Ave. in downtown Ushuaia between 10 AM-5 PM. Board the ship at 6 PM.
Welcome cocktail and introduction to the Captain and crew. This night, the ship will sail towards the South end. Through the mythical Beagle Channel and the Strait of Magellan, you will explore Patagonia and Tierra del Fuego.

Day 2: Cape Horn - Wulaia Bay

We will sail through the Murray Channel and Nassau Bay arriving at Cape Horn National Park, where we will disembark if weather conditions allow. Cape Horn was discovered in 1616 and is known as the “end of the world”,and was declared a World Biosphere Reserve in 2005. In the afternoon, we will disembark at Wulaia Bay, one of the largest ancient settlements of the native Yámanascanoeists. This area is also renowned for its dazzling beauty and unique geography. We will reach anamazing viewpoint, walking through the Magellan forest admiring lengas, coigües, cinnamon sticks and ferns.

Day 3: Pía Glacier – Garibaldi Glacier

We will sail along the Northwest arm of the Beagle Channel to enter and disembark at the Pia fjord. We will walk towards aviewpoint to observe the Pía Glacier. Going further west along beagle Channel we will enter the Garibaldi fjord to hike in a cold Patagonian virgin Magellanic forest and reach a glacial waterfall, a towering wall of ferns and moss. At this point we will have spectacular views of the glacier and the entire fjord.

Day 4: Agostini Sound – Águila Glacier – Cóndor Glacier

We will sail the Cockburn channel to enter the Agostini Sound, to appreciate the glaciers that descend from the Darwin mountain range, some reaching the sea. We will disembarkand go for an easy walk around a lagoon, which was formed by the melting of the Águila Glacier. In the afternoon, we will approach the Condor glacier via Zodiac

Day 5: Magdalena Island - Punta Arenas

First thing in the morning, if weather conditions allow it, we will disembark on Magdalena Island, which used to be an essential source of supplies for navigators and explorers. We will be able to appreciate an immense colony of Magellanic penguins. In September and April -- when the penguins dwell elsewhere -- this excursion is replaced by sailing to Marta Island to see South American sea lions. Finally, we will arrive at Punta Arenas, disembarking at 11:30 a.m.
